Strategy Guide

As the game begins, you’re going to want to build a wall of defense that will help protect your growth in Support. Petail and Mushrew are going to be the ones to overake the game! In this deck, there are a few routes you can take. You must be able to adapt at any moment. For the best-case scenario though, here are the cards you should be looking for in your opening hand and in the early stage of the game.

Early Stage

Blosshum (Primary)
• Allows for mobility from Primary to Support, bringing best attack cards to the front
• Defensive with [Wild Flower] (once a ‘Petail’ has been rested, see [Toxic Presence])

Girafferock (Primary)
• Its Passive [Rock Pile] Allows for it to stay in play as long as you have some Earth Kaiju in your hand
• Does enough damage to collect an early Joule Card and ward off any early opponent Ascensions

Rootail (Support)
• Allows for Ascension to ‘Sproutail’
• Its Passive [Burrow] will put Rock Earth Kaiju in your hand early for Ascension but also for
• Its Active [Tail Sweep] is a pinch hitter’s dream. In this deck, it can do up to 7 damage early on (just don’t lean on it too much as its temporary)

Nuttail (Support or Primary)
• Its Passive [Burrow] will put extra Rock Earth Kaiju in your hand, supplementing other abilities
• Its Active [Tail Sweep] is more useful than Rootail’s because it doesn’t Ascend In this deck

Molspore (Support)
• [Burrow] will once again bring the Rock Earth Kaiju to your hand
• Its Passive [Germination] will put some Liquid Water Kaiju at your disposal, making good use of their Passive & Support abilities
• Allows for Ascension for the infamous ‘Mushrew’ to enter into the scene

Porcupod (Primary)
• Its Passives [Tough Husk], [Serotinous Cone] & [Bur] are a defense more like a wall than a seed.

The middle stage of the game is where some players can’t see the forest for the trees. You’re going to want to begin your quick growth in this stage. Grab a ‘Green Thumb’ or two to get into full bloom.

Mid Stage

Sproutail (Support)
• You’re essentially protecting this card in Support until it flourishes into a ‘Petail,’ however,
• In an emergency situation, ‘Sproutail’ can come through in a real wrestling match because of its Active abilities

Mushrew (Primary or Support)
• Either when Sproutail comes onto the scene or in late stage when it Ascends, Mushrew can dash into play
• Its Passive [Dispersal] allows it to quickly reappear
• [Withering Scent] doesn’t do a terrible amount of damage, but it’s irritating enough to the enemy Support that its worth keeping around
• Its Passive [Decomposition] allows for unwanted plants to go to good use, invigorating this smelly shroom

Pourlican (Support)
• Its [Support] removes game-ending fire vulnerability to be dealt with
• Its Passive [Cascade] allows it to be put to good use building your late-game team quickly

Some plants aren’t meant to be messed with, touched, burned or underestimated.

Late Stage

Petail (Primary)
• Its Passive [Wild Flower] allows it to use another ‘Petail’s’ Passives or use them itself
• [Withering Scent] gives an edge in that no one will want to go head-to-head with, dealing 3 damage to any attacker. Smells like victory
• [Withering Scent] brings an unstoppable 3/3/3 damage on top of its defensive Passives
• [Petal Flurry] allows for a quick removal of any pests from the garden

Mushrew (Primary)
• [Toxin Scatter] may not look like a whole lot on its own, but with the Passive
• [Allergenic Oil], ‘Mushrew’ can dole out a terrible rash, performing at up to 4/4/4 per turn and constantly ticking
• Its Active [Withering Scent] allows for some interesting deep damage and [Decomposition] still allows Mushrew to be built up beyond belief
