The Kaiju Ketsugo! TCG
is a new & different game that molds around your playstyle.
Here are a couple of reasons why people are making space at their tables all over the US ↓

Diversity of Kaiju
There are more than 18 Kaiju sub-types
Each Kaiju belongs to a Joule Type
& Sub-Type
Each Joule is divided into 3 Sub-Types
The diversity within each Type caters to a different playstyle.
In Kaiju Ketsugo!, you play the way you want to because there are multiple paths to victory.
Each Type & Sub-type has its own “flavor” of play or playstyle. For example, unlike all other Types, the Electric type has ‘charges’ or ‘c’ to manage and draw their power from. Within the Electric Type are 3 Sub-types: Negative, Positive and Neutral. Each has unique characteristics and abilities.
The same is true for all Types. Water Kaiju are the only Type that has the ability to ascend and descend, making them evasive and hard to pin down! Their sub-types prove it even further! Ice Kaiju are defensive while Liquid Kaiju are more flexible, allowing them to borrow abilities and Vapor Kaiju are the all-out heavy hitters!

Call us naïve but we think we’ve got the recipe.
A No-Ban Stance.
We developed Ketsugo! with intentionality
so that no single card could become too powerful.
Sure, there will be some power creep, but we believe the secret sauce we used to create Kaiju Ketsugo! is going to keep every card vitally important.
That’s why we’re standing on both feet in the “No-Ban Stance”
Don’t take our word for it though…
Grab a deck and see for yourself why we say no card can become too powerful.
Unlike Other TCGs,
our power creep is in the Nether*

Positional Gameplay
Limited “In-Play” Positions
Create Strategic Obstacles
But also allow for unique synergies of Kaiju to be played while requiring critical decision-making for each move because every single move can change the direction of the game.

Our Focus Isn’t Your $$$
Though we appreciate your support
Our focus is a story, a game within it and both of our places as its told.
Our business model isn’t “how do we get you to buy more…”
It’s more like, “how can we get more people involved?”
-
Simply put, our goal in making the Kaiju Ketsugo! TCG is to create a fun and uniting experience in the real world, in real time. We enjoy a lot of games, but this isn’t just about making games for us; we didn’t set out to become a game maker. Our studio’s only aim is Kaiju Ketsugo!
We love this game because its goal is to be a game you can love also.
-
Beginning in Peoria, IL and expanding until the far reaches of the US, we want to bring the Kaiju Ketsugo! TCG to you. We see this game in the hands of our youth and adults alike, as they literally determine the story of the Kaiju Ketsugo! universe.
-
We plan to grow Kaiju Ketsugo! in a myriad of ways, but involvement in learn-to-plays, conventions and tournaments will be our primary focus for the Origin Series as the Ketsugo! community grows.
You’ll see news about all 3 on our social media pages! As we infiltrate your LGS with special events, like tournaments, the story of the Kaiju Ketsugo! universe will be written. The cards used in tournaments will be written into the annals of history and directly influence the direction of the TCG and its story.
Participants and winners of these events will play the greatest role.
See, now you want to play, huh!? -
Our beliefs will influence how Ketsugo! presses forward.
For example, many have asked us if we plan to have a mobile app or other mobile game. It may not be the news you’d like to hear, (and likely not even a lucrative decision) but the answer is no. We strongly believe in the value of personal interaction - something that has been degrading for some time and made worse during Covid. In an attempt to unite people again through games, Ketsugo! will only ever be a physical, tangible Trading Card Game.

Kaiju Ketsugo!
is an ongoing project
thoughtfully & meticulously crafted
by a small, dedicated studio in the U.S.
with a comparatively* low budget
(*Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast or even some lesser known, larger studios)
& it plays more fluidly.
We took some of the mechanics we loved from other games
& improved them,
creating faster & more dynamic turn cycles
& full player control
